Breaking Through
Designed off a moodboard because that is how the new collections in the fashion industry, are created and inspired by, this piece as a whole is based on how there needs to be more positive representation of Blackness in the fashion industry as there are a lot of systemic barriers, still to this day. Despite these barriers a lot of people are making change and going to the top, which is a constant motivation for many.
The Dream That Changed The World
This collage is a depiction of the various types of injustice happening all over the world and how a lot of people started to acknowledge these injustices more recently. Keep in mind this is nothing new for the people who have been experiencing these injustices. Martin Luther Kings “I Have A Dream Speech” stands as a voice for what needs to be done for the dream to be fulfilled.

His majesty was one of the founding fathers of the United Nations and an advocate for human rights throughout the world. Due to Hailie Selassie's unwavering character he kept Ethiopia free from colonial conquest during World War II. He remains a champion to many for his unmatched work.
