2022
Visual Description for A Culture of Care - CollageIn the centre of this digital collage there is a 7 (width) x 12 (height) grid of circles, mimicking Petri dishes, containing visual artwork. At the bottom of this visual artwork, there are seven anatomical figures arranged in the following colour order: red, orange, yellow, grey, green, blue, and purple. The figures are missing their skin and have their eyes closed. From the centre figure’s head grows a tree with a yellow trunk that branches into green, purple, blue, and pink outstretched skeleton hands. From each side of the tree trunk extends a pale-yellow skeleton hand. On the left, the skeleton hand is displaying an anatomical heart in shades of red and blue. On the right, the skeleton hand is displaying an anatomical brain in shades of blue. The background is dark red with cell-like splotches of blue and lighter red. Encircling the outside of the central grid, on a white background, are five layers of black text that repeat: “A CULTURE OF CARE.”
