WE GROW TOGETHER
AN EXHIBITION BY INDIGENOUS YOUTH
In August 2023, JAYU partnered with White Owl Native Ancestry Association, Wisahkotewinowak and the Sad Collective for a five-day intensive painting and writing workshop in Kitchener, Ontario. Five Indigenous youth explored how their growth, destiny and understanding of the world is connected to land. Led by Aneel Vyas and special guest Meghan Yuri Young , each of them share their unique perspectives on what it means to grow together and as individuals.
Mentors: Aneel Vyas, Desiree Mckenzie, Meghan Yuri Young
