Rooted in their upbringing in Vietnam and enriched by experiences in Canada, Phan Trúc creates art that celebrates Southeast Asian heritage while fostering connections with diverse communities. Their work explores cultural treasures, from symbols of feminism depicted through blossoming nature to the metaphorical significance of fish representing time and transformation. Through their art, Phan captures the interplay of past, present, and future, inviting reflection on heritage, identity, and our shared human experience.

Phan Trúc holds a Bachelor of Arts in Culture from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam) and postgraduate certificates in Arts Education and Community Engagement from Centennial College (Canada). They have facilitated workshops at 10AM Saigon (since 2017), Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery (2023), LA Centre for Active Seniors (2024), and Chuvalo Community Centre (2024). As a Program Coordinator at Arts Etobicoke, they led initiatives such as EDGE and The Royal York Mural (2024). Their artworks have been showcased across Southeast Asia and Canada, including at Arts Etobicoke, the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair, the CreateSpace Public Art Forum, and The Museum.
