iAM Programming

Each iAM Program provides youth-led arts & social justice mentorship to anyone ages 12-29, across Ontario, Canada.

Are you interested in making art? Growing your storytelling skills? Incorporating social justice into your creative process?

Sign up to participate in our FREE iAM Program. We will provide you with the creative toolkit you need to develop social justice-focused artwork.

Do you want to propose a workshop to run with JAYU? Are you looking for support to promote something to the JAYU community? Submitting your artwork to the iAM Zine? Fill out this form and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible!

JAYU would love to engage you in paid opportunities that come our way and to do so, we'll need to learn more about your artistic practice! We're sending an open call for artist portfolios and highly encourage you to fill out this form to be added to our artist roster. NOTE: An artist portfolio can be a social media profile, website, Google folder, or anything that shows the work you've done in the past!

iAM Programs are open to anyone who is interested. However, priority will be given to equity-deserving youth.

Equity-deserving youth identify as having barriers to equal access, opportunities, and resources due to disadvantages and discrimination. This includes: 

  • Black and racialized people

  • People with disabilities

  • Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, and Métis)

  • Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, Trans, Queer, and 2-Spirit (LGBTQ2S+)
